The programme
How the Build Phases Run
Four phases, each finished and approved before the next starts. The numbers are what a typical build actually takes.
Hull and Framing
Six to ten months. Keel, frames and planking.
Interior and Systems
Four to six months. Fit-out, electrics and plumbing.
Trials and Delivery
One month. Engine trials, stability checks, handover.
Inside the Vessel
Interior work is where a phinisi stops being a hull and becomes somebody's boat.

A hardwood phinisi in Eastern Indonesia takes 10 to 18 months end to end, which is the sum of the four phases above rather than an estimate.
Cost varies with size, design complexity, materials and how bespoke the fit-out is. Those four are itemised separately in every quotation.
Your Vision, Our Drawings
Most clients arrive with references rather than drawings. Turning that into something buildable is the first job, and it is done with you rather than presented to you.
Traditional craftsmanship sets what the hull can do; modern design decides what the inside of it feels like.
Materials are sustainably sourced, which on a fit-out mostly means the teak you can see and the ply you cannot.
