Duration depends entirely on scope. A minor refurbishment can be a few weeks; an extensive structural and interior rebuild runs considerably longer.
We scope from survey rather than from a photograph, because on a wooden hull the difference between cosmetic and structural is usually under the paint.
Structural Integrity First
On a wooden vessel the interior can look immaculate over frames that are failing. We survey structure before quoting finish.
Timber repair is done by shipwrights who build new hulls, so replacement planking is fitted the way the original was.
Aesthetic renovation follows structural work, never the other way round.
