Large custom phinisi · 35-50 m
Flagship two-masted schooners with five to eight guest cabins, full air-conditioning, water-makers and class survey, built for the top of the Komodo liveaboard trade.

Delivered work
Custom phinisi from 25 to 50 metres, multi-cabin liveaboards, expedition hulls and day-charter boats, all built on Flores slipways and launched straight into Komodo waters.
Start Your ProjectA working yard is best judged by what actually leaves its slipway: our recent programmes group into four classes, from 15-metre day boats to 50-metre flagship phinisi, every one of them trialled in the waters it now works.

Four classes, each with its own engineering logic and its own build calendar.
Flagship two-masted schooners with five to eight guest cabins, full air-conditioning, water-makers and class survey, built for the top of the Komodo liveaboard trade.
The most common commission at the yard: three to five cabins, owner or charter configuration, on 10 to 14 month build programmes.
Reinforced wooden vessels for longer eastern-Indonesia routes and support work.
Open-deck and cabin day boats engineered for high-cycle commercial service between Labuan Bajo and the park gates.
Every boat in the portfolio was trialled in the same waters it now works. Launch days in Labuan Bajo follow the Flores tradition, with a blessing at the waterline before first float.
Instrumented sea trials follow in the real currents of the Linta Strait. Handover includes survey documentation, trial results and crew familiarisation, and boats destined for commercial work leave the yard licensing-ready.
Because most delivered boats operate out of Labuan Bajo, a dockside visit to a completed vessel can often be arranged alongside a slipway tour of builds in progress.
The specification below is from a recently completed commission and is representative of the mid-large phinisi class the yard builds most often.
Eight-metre beam, giving the deck space a multi-cabin charter layout needs without losing sea-keeping in the strait.
Sized for park itineraries and the passage legs between anchorages rather than for outright speed.
Capacity set for week-long itineraries without a resupply leg back to town.
Ironwood keel and frames, teak decks and joinery, all inspected at the yard before cutting.
Keel laying to handover in under 18 months, including trials and documentation.
Budget bands for each class are published on the pricing page, and the stage-by-stage process is set out on how it works.
Tell us roughly what you are planning and when you can be in Labuan Bajo. Where an owner schedule allows, we will pair a slipway tour with a dockside visit to a finished vessel.
