Stage by stage
The Five Stages
Nothing moves to the next stage until the current one is agreed in writing. That is what keeps a wooden build to schedule.

Consultation and Design
We work with you on specification: length, purpose, interior layout, deck configuration and equipment.

Naval Architecture
Lines plan, structural calculation and 3D design, signed off before any timber is cut.

Hull Construction
Ironwood keel laid, frames fitted, planking closed by hand. The longest stage by some margin.

Interior and Systems
Cabins, saloon, galley and heads, with electrical, plumbing and navigation routed behind them.

Sea Trials and Delivery
Engine trials, stability checks and handover. Delivery can be arranged across Indonesia.
Construction typically spans 10 to 18 months, varying with the vessel size and the level of customisation requested.
What You Get at Each Stage
Written cost breakdowns and a build schedule, so progress can be tracked against both rather than taken on trust.
Materials sourced locally: ironwood and teak from eastern Indonesia, from suppliers we can point you at.
Construction costs here are lower than Bali or Jakarta, largely because the timber and the craftsmen are already in Flores rather than shipped to it.
